Hi, My sister who is married to Pedhatha’s sister’s son gifted this lovely book to me. I knew Pedhatha personally and everytime you go through a recipe, you can feel her presence and the “joy” of sharing her recipes with you. I enjoy it thoroughly. Although Mrs Sarala Surya Rao (sarala aunty) as we call her praises her sister for the cooking, you can see from aunty’s great cooking skills that it runs in the family.

My friend gifted me ‘Cooking with Pedatha’ a year back, and I’ve been trying a whole lot of the recipes. Just this morning, I made the coconut chutney from this book, which is a huge favourite at home and we were thanking Pedatha for such simple, delicious recipes. Really sad to hear about this. May her soul rest in peace.

Hi,
Pedatha seems like such a fascinating and inspiring personality. After going through this website , I’m really tempted to buy this book because I love spicy cuisine. Cookbooks like this make it really worthwhile to buy the book as we get to read about such a dynamic and positive person in the bargain.

I love to cook and feed all my friends and my daughter of course, but Telugu dishes seemed to me to be too spicy for my palate… however, having gone through these recipes, I’m tempted to try out some of these receipes instantly. Sadly I live in a hostel now and will have to wait a few months for that…!

Hi, We just bought a copy of the book “Cooking at Home with Pedatha”. I am 6 months pregnant and have lost all my taste buds due to extended nausea. My husband and i started cooking from this book just like the movie Julie and Julia. We both love food so its exciting to have a book that we can really relish. So far we made 3 dishes and all of them were superb. The tips are really great.
May pedatha’s soul rest in peace.

The book is so good that I just could not resist going through all the pages the day I bought it and I have been preparing atleast 2 recipes daily. Infact, my husband was saying he was really feeling like having an authentic Andhra meal prepared by Pedatha. She will live in our memories forever.
