  8. Hi, I suggest you to open a group on facebook.com.

Hi Srividya, Will send you a hi from our facebook.

  9. I’m also excited about this book. I’m also going to get it very soon.
I was wondering if you could clarify my doubt about honey.
I have another book on ayurveda where it is mentioned that heating honey is not good. Is it correct? But many Western, especially baking/dessert recipes call for heating honey.

Dear Madhuram, We look forward to your impressions about the book. Regards honey, as we have mentioned in our book, “Honey and hot water should not be mixed together. Heating of honey is considered very harmful. Ayurvedic texts state that honey can even be heated by the body, when consumed by a person suffering from a heat stroke, thus making it unhealthy!” We were also quite surprised when we first heard this, but after we read many of the Ayurveda texts, this became clear.

  10. I’ve purchased the book and i should commend you on this great book. I’ve started to learn so much about my body through this book.
I’ve some questions though. I dislike milk from childhood and i can’t handle it. You’ve suggested milk in most of the soups. Is there an alternative for milk in those recipes?
Also, I drink hot water with honey and lime juice every morning. Since you mentioned that honey with hotwater is harmful, is warm water ok with honey ?

  11. I was in India recently visiting my ill grandmom, and in my busy schedule I did find time to purchase your book from one of Landmark outlets. I am simply in awe reading your book. Very well done. Great work! My current favorite is your semolina dosa :D :D . Hugs! Mythili
Dear Mythili, Lovely to hear from you. we are so happy that you like Sukham Ayu. We have seen your experiment with “Cooking at Home with Pedatha” and have given a link to that post in our site on the reviews page. Hope your grandmom is much better at having seen you.
